Asia - Vietnam

Vietnam; Ho Chi Minh City - June 2007

Last year i was followed Hon Wan to Ho Chi Minh City, he has 3 days conference in Omni Saigon Hotel. Me of course visit the city by myself.

Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) its former name of Saigon, is the largest city in Vietnam, last time was French colony. Therefore the city was influenced by French, a little of HCMC's French colonial charm still remains, graceful architecture, wide boulevards etc.

After i come out from air port, it was surprising me a lot of motorcycle on the road. It was a question in my mind, how do i cross the road?!? When i raise this question to Hon Wan, he told me don't worry, the motorcycle speed was not so fast, it possible they are carefully to look for people who are crossing road. Haha, he is right..... if we want to wait for empty street to cross the road, it was impossible in HCMC.

Get used to stepping outside your comfort zone.

Within our comfort zone, we feel save and secure. But now and again we need to step out of it and take up challenges.
