Last year we visit south and west of Germany, this year we travel from Frankfurt to Berlin and to north Hamburg and cross country to Copenhagen and from Copenhagen to Malmo.
Early morning arrival in Frankfurt airport, this is not the first time in Frankfurt airport, therefore we know that have to buy a train ticket to central train station and for our hotel and the starting point to visit city of Frankfurt. When we look confusion of the ticket machine for the destination, one of the young people look like a student come and help even say that show us the platform.... i feel fishy .. opp! when reached the platform he requested lau to donate 70euro for taken train for his destination, lau rejected it and just given him 5euro. Traveling many times, we always reminded ourself be careful of stranger, this is the first time we are so careless :( luckily we all safe at that moment.
Let start our journey, first day we were stay nearby Frankfurt central train station and walk around center. 2nd day took a early train and explore 3 days in Berlin. After Berlin taken train to stay 2 nights in Hamburg. Final destination was in Copenhagen and back to KL.
I like Hamburg, planed to go Sunday fish market and Miniatur Wunderland. Winter early morning want to visit fish market is cold and cool, because fish market is open early morning so we have to wake up early and take a city train, oh no! why the train have stop but we were not reach our fish market yet, the time sister realized that we taken wrong train hahaha.
What?!?! From Hamburg to Copenhagen we have booked the train on board road was under construction. It was a scaly experience early morning around 4am we have started our train journey, at the time we don't know our train time table it has been changed, so we do not get the new schedule. For us it could be lucky, met a nice guy he is from Hamburg and working in Copenhagen, every weekend he going home, he saw us changed many trains have looked confusion and told us the detail of what happen and due to construction so we need to change many train and taken a bus will reach Copenhagen. Wow! sometime stranger also a good guy, we really want to say thank you with the nice scientist :)
About this trip, we get more and more experience about taken train. People always say traveling is a journey not the destination. Agreed :)
